Tracking Of Time, Months, Years
The Land Beyond The Mist follows the same mathematics to track the time, the day, the month, and the year. Historians believe that the reason behind this universal time keeping is the fact that at some point in the Awakening Period, a large group of people came together to find a way to track time. This was spread throughout the rest of the world, everyone using the same calendar even to this day. It is a rather simplistic method, using only the sun and the moon to track time.
TIME OF DAY:
The people of this world believe that the complete rotation of the moon and the sun equals one day. They also use the position of the moon and the sun to determine what hour it is, whether it is night or day. While they do acknowledge the existence of time in between two hours, the people of the land do not believe in being specific when it comes to the logging of minutes.
It had been decided by those early time seekers that there would be twelve months in a single year, each month given an equal amount of days. (30) After the twelfth month has completed, the calendar goes back to the first month to begin the process all over again. The following is the list of months in order;
As stated earlier, after the twelfth month finished, that represented the ending of a year. To this day, this land has been around for 845 years recorded.
